Edmund P. Shrewsbury
SHREWSBURY, Edmund P. Jr., 86, of Moseley, Va., passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
He is survived by his children, Christopher Shrewsbury (Arleen), Jeffrey Shrewsbury (Michelle), and Elizabeth Slater (Jeffrey); five grandchildren; sister, Adeline Shrewsbury; and brother, Jerry Shrewsbury.
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Edmund was a proud Georgia Tech alumnus and an Apollo 11 engineer. He was also a gifted saxophonist and a master with a pool cue—always ready with a smile and a sharp shot.
A graveside celebration of Edmund’s life will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Dale Memorial Park.

It was my privilege and pleasure to have Ed as a cousin by marriage. I kept in touch with him until the last when I found out that he had passed. Now he gets to reunite with his lovely wife’s spirit in the afterlife. He will be missed.
