Deborah Ann “Debbie” Bartlett
Deborah Ann “Debbie” Bartlett, 69, of Chesterfield, VA passed away on December 14, 2025. Debbie lived a vibrant life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family.
Debbie was a proud graduate of Meadowbrook High School in Richmond. She went on to build a career at Philip Morris International, where she worked as a Research & Development Lab Technician for over a decade. Her dedication and work ethic were evident in all she did.
Family was at the heart of Debbie’s world. She found her greatest joy in her role as mother and “Meme.” She was a loving mother to Alexis McNeeley (Chris) and Michelle McCauley (Richard), and she cherished every moment spent with her granddaughter Cassidy Boyd-McNeeley. Her love extended beyond people to her cherished dogs, Bella and Chloe, who were constant companions that brought her comfort and happiness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Currell Dalton; her parents, Hugh Nelson Bartlett Sr. and Stella Goodman; her brother, Hugh Nelson “Butch” Bartlett Jr.; and her sister, Linda Bartlett Collins. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.
Known for being caring and loving—with a healthy dose of stubbornness—Debbie embraced life with warmth and determination. She found joy in simple pleasures: solving crosswords and Sudoku puzzles, gardening, baking treats for loved ones, she had a special talent for crafts, and spent sunny days at the pool or beach. Television brought her relaxation and entertainment; she especially enjoyed watching Dr. Phil, Dancing with the Stars, Law & Order, and various cooking shows.
Her legacy lives on through the love she shared so generously and the joyful spirit she brought into every room.
A celebration of life will be held on February 28th from 2-6 at Beach Community Grange 11401 Bundle Road Chesterfield, VA 23838
