Patsy (Pat) Jane Haun Navarre died on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.  Pat was born on October 28, 1934 in Shenandoah County, VA and was the daughter of the late Clarence B. Haun and Lydia Sheetz Haun.  She married the late Robert (Bob) L. Navarre, Jr. on October 31, 1953 in the Woodstock Methodist Church in Woodstock VA.  Pat is survived by her children Terry C. Navarre (Nancy) of Amherst, VA, Cherie Navarre Carl (Keith) of Wicomico Church, VA, and Darla Navarre Newman of Henrico, VA, and her grandsons, Matthew Navarre (Charity), great grandson Troy of Tigard, OR, Samuel Navarre (Brianna), great grandson Lucah of Hayes, VA and grandson Ryan Newman of Henrico, VA.

Pat was the youngest of six children and was preceded in death by her brothers, William B. Haun, T.C. “Pete” Haun, and her sisters, Catharine E. Emswiler, Dorothy V. Seibert, and Anna Mae Jones.  

Pat was married to Bob (Moose) Navarre for 59 years.  They lived in Amherst VA and New Market VA over the years and enjoyed many beach vacations with their family and playing golf.  Pat enjoyed baking, sewing, and gardening.   She also loved all board and card games. After Bob’s passing in 2012, Pat moved to the Richmond area and lived at Dogwood Terrace retirement community where she developed many special friendships.
