David Antosiak
June 23, 1943 – May 3, 2025
David Lee Antosiak, 81, passed away peacefully on the morning of May 3, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife of 61 years and his six children. David was preceded in death by his father Leo Antosiak, his mother Loretta Antosiak and sister Kathleen Bester.
David was born on June 23, 1943, in Cleveland Ohio and married Patricia Ann Klusak on April 18, 1964. David and Patricia moved from Cleveland Ohio to Colorado in July of 1973 with their young children. David worked as a journeyman pipefitter for most of his career and retired as an AutoCAD manager. David spent his retirement enjoying time with his wife, traveling to their favorite place, Las Vegas and visiting their children when not in Colorado. In December of 2021, David and Patricia moved to Moseley Virginia, a beautiful suburb of Richmond.
David spent the last five years of his life loving and appreciating every single day, despite his health struggles. He bravely fought stage four non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2021, entering remission after a long treatment. David was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in 2023 and then end stage kidney failure after a medical accident. David bravely endured dialysis treatments for nearly four hours a day, three days a week, for seventeen months. He was then diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) in April 2025 and was scheduled to begin chemo treatments on April 21. David never made it to these chemo treatments, but he fought all of these diseases with grace and strength and lived each day with appreciation. He truly saw the beauty and goodness in life even through sickness.
David is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Ann Antosiak (nee Klusak) of Moseley Virginia, his six children, their spouses and grandchildren: Joseph and Becky Antosiak of Mesa Arizona (and their children Alyssa and Donovan), Jeannette and Michael Schwab of Colorado Springs (and their children Amelia Pigeon and Nickolas Schwab), Shani Antosiak of Colorado Springs (and her daughter Aven Van Vleet), David M. Antosiak of Denver Colorado, Holly and Daven Delidle of Woodbridge Virginia (and their son Connor Delidle), and Christopher and Stephanie Antosiak of Moseley Virginia (and their son Emerson Antosiak). David is also survived by three great grandchildren (Jaden Pigeon and Ethan Pigeon sons of Amelia and Ryan Pigeon) and (Ranon Augustus Wilson son of Aven Van Vleet and Steve Wilson).
David was the most loving and wonderful husband, father, grandfather, papa, great grandfather, brother, son, and friend. David adored his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and was always available whenever anyone needed him. David saw the beauty in life and appreciated the little things like the scent in the air after the rain or the beautiful swans that often visited the lake behind their home. David knew each day was gift and always saw the positive in life even when faced with adversity.
David will always be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, his giving nature, and his appreciation of life. David may be gone from this life, but he will remain in our hearts forever.
