Perlena B. Roberts

The sun rose to Perlena B. Roberts on April 14, 1931 to and set on June 2, 2020.  She was born to Curtis William Bouldin and Lucinda Bouldin of Saxe, VA.  He was preceded in death by Preston Boudin, John Bouldin, Corana Worsham, and Deloris Robinson.  She is survived by two brothers, Curtis Lewis Bouldin, Joseph Bouldin; three sisters, Marie Bacon, Cathleena Steward, and Rosa Mitter.  She attended Baoon District School.  At an early age, she joined Piney Grove Baptist Church, later on joining the Church of Henrico at Brook Run Shopping Center. She then moved to New Jersey where she married William Carrington and had two children: Charles William Carrington and Forest Vernell Carrington Watson.  Later in life, she married Willie C. Roberts, where she had 3 children: Jeffery Jones, Phyllis Page, and Felice Richards (deceased). She is survived by 7 grandchildren: Omar Carrington, Ryan Page, Stacy Page, Sheena Roberts, Riad Carrington, Keith Richards, and Alexander Carrington; preceded in death by Marlon Carrington and Tyrel Bouldin.  Perlena is also survived by 24 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
