Richard C. Williams “Willy”

Richard C. Williams (Willy), 87, of Chester, VA, passed away on June 10, 2025 peacefully at home surrounded by family.  He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend who will be deeply missed by all.

Willy is survived by his wife of 52 years, Betty, sons Neill (Steve) and Kevin (Monica), daughter, Kim, and grandsons, Kyle and Kaleb.

Willy was born on March 13, 1938 in Richmond, VA.  He served in the Air Force from 1955-1959 and later retired from Reynolds Metals as a machinist.  In his retirement he spent his time with his children, outdoors cutting trees for firewood, riding his tractor cutting the field or prepping the ground for a garden, fishing/boating, and spending time at their river house. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
