May 9, 1945 – October 13, 2025Ann Warner Wallmeyer, of Hanover, Virginia, passed away peacefully at home on October 13, 2025, at the age of 80.She was preceded in death by her parents, Ignatius and Virginia Dart Wallmeyer; her siblings Joseph Boehling Wallmeyer, Richard Dart Wallmeyer, and Mary Mann Curtain-Savard; and her beloved son, Joseph Michael Daniel.Ann is survived by her siblings Ignatius “Rinky” Wallmeyer, John Mark Wallmeyer, and Kathleen Dart; her children Annette “Kit” London, Margaret “Ginny” Abraham, Carolyn Daniel, Thomas Daniel (Amanda) and Tina Elliott (John Travis); along with thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild who brought her endless joy.Ann was cherished by all who knew her for her vibrant sense of humor, steadfast faith in Christ, generous heart, and eccentric personality. Growing up on her family’s farm in Hanover, she developed a lifelong love of horses and often fondly shared stories of riding her horse “Danny Boy” and racing the trains that passed near her home.A graduate of Saint Gertrude’s High School ’63, Ann’s creativity and artistic talents were evident throughout her life. She had a passion for watercolor painting, fashion design, and sewing—skills that led her to become an accomplished seamstress and later an expert upholsterer of fine antiques.Ann’s warmth, laughter, kindness, and uniqueness will be deeply missed but forever remembered by her family and all who had the blessing of knowing her.A viewing will be held at Richmond Coach and Mortuary located at 8500 Staples Mill Rd. Richmond, Va 23228 on October 22, 2025 from 6:00 to 8:00pm.A funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church located at 5217 Futura Ave. Richmond, VA 23231 on October 23, 2025 at 12:00pm with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery located at 1700 1st Ave Richmond Va, 23222.
