Carol was a woman of strong faith. She and husband, Larry, were founding members of St. Mary’s Church. She built many lasting relationships through the church and in her community that lasted throughout her life. Carol was an expert seamstress and bowled competitively throughout the state until the age of 70. She was also an avid reader and skilled bridge player up until a few weeks before her death. Being an only child, Carol loved being surrounded by her large family and was the happiest when the house was filled with family and friends. Carol was the epitome of strength and grace in some of life’s most challenging situations; she had a heart and soul in the shape of unbelievable kindness. Carol spent her final years at St. Mary’s Woods Retirement Community which became her home. The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to the staff at St. Mary’s Woods for their compassionate care, support and dedication. The family also wishes to thank Dr. Joe Mehfoud and At Home Care Hospice for their invaluable support to the family.
