Dianne Bowery Coleman

Dianne Bowery Coleman, 64, of Charles City, was called home to be with the Lord on January 3, 2026. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, William and Ellen Bowery.

 

Dianne leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Dale Coleman, her sons Matthew Coleman and Paul (Maki) Coleman and her cherished grandsons Deacon Coleman and Elias Coleman. She is also remembered with love by her brother Ronnie (Beth) Bowery, and her sisters Mary (Jim) Fyfe and Jean (Floyd) Boze, along with many extended family members and friends who will forever hold her memory close.

 

A faithful member of Fort Lee Baptist Church, Dianne lived a life rooted in service, compassion, and unwavering faith. She found joy in helping others, sharing her gifts, and expressing her creativity through crocheting. Above all, she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose gentle spirit and steadfast love touched everyone blessed to know her.

 

Dianne’s life was a testament to her deep love for the Lord and her family. Her warmth, kindness, and quiet strength will continue to inspire all who carry her memory in their hearts.

 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 17, 2026 from 11 a.m. to Noon at Fort Lee Baptist Church, 2727 Charles City Road, Richmond, VA 23231, where a Celebration of Life Service will be held starting at Noon. Everyone in attendance is invited for a meal following the service 

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or American Red Cross.
