Divante Jael Noble

Born in Richmond, VA to Nichele, Divante came into this world boldly, brightly, albeit briefly.  Divante, known to most as “Meech” but affectionately called “Pezo” by his grandmother; Brenda Noble, took the world by a blazing storm.  Making friends wherever he landed, impacting fiercely all whom he encountered, no matter the length of time.  Known to the music world as “Minutemaid Meechy,” the clouds rolled low and slow, as he entranced all whom listened with his intricate hypnotizing flow.  Melodic Mondays will never be the same.  As with all storms, there is a calm before it, and a calm after it.  We are left with the remnants of the experience.  Divante transcended to a higher realm of consciousness after a battle with illness.  Left to cherish his memory is his grandmother, Brenda Noble (Granny), his son; Jael, Uncle; Jason, his brothers in life and spirit; Bernard, Brian, Tyrick, Eric, Antoine, Ray, Justin, Dave, John, Daryl, Cam, Rashad, his fiancee; Shavonda, and a host of friends and self-made family that endure the unfortunate passing of Divante,  Whether he was “D”, “Meech” or “Pezo”, he will be etched in memory forever.
