Joyce Brooks, 85, of Aylett, Virginia, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2026, at The Laurels of Bon Air in Richmond, Virginia. She has been laid to rest at Washington Memorial Park in Sandston, Virginia.

Joyce was the loving and devoted wife to her late husband, Leo Brooks, with whom she is now peacefully reunited. Joyce had a witty personality and in her early years, worked as a waitress. She carried a deep love for cats and found great joy and comfort in music throughout her life.

Though her circle was small, Joyce’s life mattered deeply, and she is remembered by those who knew her with abundant love and respect.

May she rest in peace in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
