Molly Murrin Weatherly

Molly Murrin Weatherly of Mechanicsville, Virginia passed away in her home on Sunday, September 27th, 2026 at the age of 62. She was born to David and Sally Murrin in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

She was preceded in death by her father, David Edward Murrin, her mother, Sally Springer Murrin, her sister, Constance “Stancy” Richardson, and her husband of over 30 years, Paul “Randy” Randolph Weatherly. She is survived by her two sons, Jackson David Everett Weatherly, his fiancè Katie Pilcher, and Bennett Murrin MacDonald Weatherly. She is also survived by her step mother Eileen “Connie” Constance Murrin, sister Kerry Chapdelaine, and brothers David Murrin, John Lagae, Laurence Lagae, and Patrick Murrin. 

Molly graduated from the University of South Florida in 1986. After this she dedicated over 25 years working in the banking industry. Molly originally met the love of her life at Bates Junior High School in Annapolis, Maryland. She met Randy again at her five year high school reunion and promptly invited him on a beach vacation that she had won through her work. Molly and Randy went on to live happily for over 30 years. 

When Molly wasn’t home, she could be found at the beach. The beach was always her happy place. She played Division 1 beach volleyball while at USF and loved getting tan on the beach. She always made sure to have at least two friends or family members living near the beach so that she could spend a long weekend with her toes in the sand. When she wasn’t at the beach or working, she would spend the rest of her free time dancing around the house jamming to tunes and coloring.
