Pamela Predeau

 

Pamela “Pam” Predeau, beloved wife, mother, and Nana, went home to be with the Lord on September 27, 2025, at the age of 60. She passed peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family.

 

Born on January 16, 1965, in Emporia, Virginia, to the late Mary Ann Smith and Waverly Jarratt Jr., Pam lived a life marked by grace, humility, and unwavering love for her family, and, above all, her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a devoted wife to John Predeau for 27 years, a nurturing mother to Casey Gill, Jessica (Rudy) Etheredge, Destin (Bianca) Harrison, and Gary Robinson, and a loving Nana to eleven grandchildren, who brought her immense joy.

 

Pam was the heart of her home and made everyone feel like family. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—home-cooked meals, the laughter of others, and the comfort of family gathered around the table. She had a gift for hosting and serving others. Her hands were rarely still, her kitchen was always warm, and her door was always open. She lived with gratitude, love for all, and an unwavering faith that shaped every part of her life. 

 

She often reminded her family that joy isn’t found in wealth or worldly things, but in faith, family, and the blessings of everyday life. Her legacy of humility, hospitality, and devotion will live on in all who were blessed to know her.

 

A celebration of her life will be held on October 18, 2025, at The Carson Ruritan Club in Carson, Virginia, beginning at 2 PM. All are welcome to join in remembering and giving thanks to God for the life of this beautiful woman. 

 

Though we grieve her passing, we find peace in knowing she is now in the presence of her Savior, completely healed, hearing the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure. She is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. 

 

“She fought the good fight, she finished the race, she kept the faith.” – 2 Timothy 4:7
