Sandra Suitt
Sandra Ann Beazley Suitt
August 10, 1953 – May 1, 2026
Sandra Ann Beazley Suitt passed away peacefully on May 1, 2026, surrounded by her family. Born on August 10, 1953, Sandra was the daughter of the late Arthur W. Beazley and Mary S. Beazley.
Sandra possessed a generous heart and cared deeply for those around her. She welcomed those in need into her life, offering kindness and companionship freely and lovingly to all who crossed her path.
She found joy in the beauty of life’s simple things — tending to her gardens, decorating her home, and surrounding herself with all things whimsical and magical. Sandra had a special way of creating warmth and comfort wherever she went.
She now joins her beloved husband, Dennis W. Suitt, who passed away on May 8, 1999, as well as her deeply cherished grandmothers, Myrtle Smith and Evelyn Brown.
Sandra is survived by her loving children, Janine Lewis, William Suitt, and Rachel Bayliss; Micheal Lewis (son-in-law), and Mallory Suitt (daughter-in-law); and by her treasured grandchildren, Benjamin Lewis; Keeper and Ryder Bayliss; and Meadow, Raleigh, and Reese Suitt. Sandra was a proud and devoted grandmother. Her grandchildren were among her greatest joys, and she treasured every laugh, hug, and moment spent with them.
In addition to numerous beloved nieces and nephews, Sandra is survived by her siblings, Diane Whitworth, Karen Joseph, Michael Beazley, and Vickie Stevens, along with their spouses, Warren Whitworth, Junior Joseph (deceased), Kim Beazley, and Ernie Stevens, who had been cherished members of her extended family for many decades. Sandra also has extended family in Maryland, in-laws, Jeff and Gina Suitt and their family
Sandra’s memory will continue to live on through the kindness, love, and generosity she shared so freely with her family and friends. May she now rest in joy, carrying fairy wings in heaven.
A viewing will be held on Friday May 8, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Richmond Coach & Mortuary Service / Funeral Home. 8500 Staples Mill Rd, Richmond, VA 23228.
