Susan Taylor Evans of Richmond, Virginia passed away in her home on August 4, 2026, at the
age of 65. She was born on May 8, 1961, to Richard and Beverly (Fenner) Taylor in Richmond. 

After graduating from J.R. Tucker High School (Class of 1979), Susan dedicated her entire
career to the mortgage industry, working tirelessly to provide for her family. 

Susan loved
shopping, hanging by the pool or beach, and spending time with her children and anyone else
who called her “mom.” Susan will be remembered for her loving personality and ability to light
up any room.

She is survived by her son, Austin Evans (Jackie); her sister, Robin (Taylor)
Fulcher; her niece, Shannon (Brown) Marsh (Richard and Calvin); and nephew, Taylor Finlay.
Susan was preceded in death by her daughter, Blair Patterson and her parents, Richard and
Beverly Taylor. 

 A private memorial service will be held at Richmond Coach & Cremation for

close friends and family. If you would like to pay respects, an after-service reception will be held

at Susan’s sister’s home on Monday, August 10, 2026.
