Wendy Babcock Meadows
Wendy Babcock Meadows went home to Jesus on July 29, 2026 at age 53.
Wendy was born to Jimmy and Charlotte Babcock on March 20, 1973 in Henrico, VA. As a child, she enjoyed fishing with her daddy, cheerleading, and spending time with her brothers, sisters, and family.
Wendy was blessed with three beautiful daughters, Brittany, Katie, and Laura. She went on to meet her husband, Raymond Meadows, in 2013. They were married on October 3, 2015.
In addition to being a dedicated and loving wife and mother, Wendy also loved cooking, putting her toes in the sand at the beach, going to baseball games, all of the dogs, enjoying a good meal with friends and family, and actively participating at Community Life Church.
Wendy held an unwavering faith in God, continuously sharing with others for her whole life in an effort to “Make Heaven Crowded.”
Wendy joins her father, Jimmy, her in-laws, Wayne Carter and Karl Sr. And Kathy Meadows, and her granddaughter, Desiree, in Heaven. She is survived by her husband, Raymond, her children, Brittany, Katie, and Laura, her grandchildren, Aria and Landon, her mother, Charlotte, her siblings, Annette, Jeannie, William, and Jamie, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of Wendy’s life will be held on Saturday August 8, 2026 at 2 pm, at Community Life Church located at 2410 New Dorset Circle, Powhatan, VA 23139.

Wendy, was a beautiful young lady! She loved the Lord! I have been knowing her most of her life!! She loved her family with all her heart! She was a strong and conragious woman ! I love her very much! I will always carry her kindness, braveness in my heart! I’m going to miss her beautiful smile and kind heart! RIP Wendy!
